I recently had a session with a young women that had questions about her education and future regarding school choices. Her question to me was "Do I stay here in the school that I am presently enrolled in or change schools and transfer to Hawaii?" Yes, of course lets get past the obvious answer of... Hell Yes! Lets go to Hawaii! giggles..... It really isn't that easy for most people though, right? When I do a session I get snippets of information in pictures and words. The information that I received was if she stayed here she would quickly fall in love and be totally involved in family life. The sensations that I received where of being swept away with the whole experience of family, being in a unit of people. Having the experience of being in a group, strengthening relationships, but, also a watering down of her independence because the purpose of that path was building a family. On the other hand, if she was to go to Hawaii, I had a vision of her walking the beach alone, picking up shells that symbolized her choices, she was very peaceful. There where so many choices. The choices where available because she took the time alone to learn about herself and her strengths. Moving away from home allowed her to broaden herself and her opportunities that would impact the rest of her life. Still allowing her to have a family later in life if that is what she decided she wanted. The picture of the little goats nose represents the small pieces that you can see at the beginning of making a decision. As life unfolds after the decision making is done and you are actually in the experiences created by the decision, that is when you can see the whole picture. Making a decision about a life choice has two parts. Decide which way to go, then decide to completely have the experience with no regrets.
As you can see, neither choice is right or wrong. Some of you who read this will feel one choice is better and some the other is better. This is due to your own experiences and longing for experiences that you feel you may have missed out on. For her there is no right or wrong path. The clips of her life that I was shown where possibilities that where available for the moment that she was asking. People will ask me what decisions they should make about specific situations. My answer is, it is not my place to tell you what to do. I can offer snippets of what I see the future holds, but our future is constantly changing with the decisions we make each minute. Everything matters, even our thoughts impact our opportunities. Ever changing.
What I am to say next is in my opinion of how things work. I am not here to convince anyone to believe what I believe. I have come to this conclusion by way of seeing how our loved ones perceive their life after they leave this physical plane. What they think is important once they are removed from the addiction of being human and not seeing everything very clearly. There are really no wrong or right decisions. If we think things through and decide on a path, have the experience of that path and be grateful for the experiences..... then we did well. Live is about being present for the experience. Period.
When we finish our life and look back at our choices and the experiences that resulted from those choices, what do you think we will see and feel? Will we wish we made a different choice? Or will we conceder how we handled each choice? Did we do it with an open heart for ourselves and others around us. Did we have grace or where crazy, bumbling, stupid heads about the whole thing. I know that sounds silly, but it is real. We will look upon how we lived life with compassion no matter which way we went or how we behaved. Humans are far from perfect. We are here to make mistakes or we would only be having half the human experience. Love, pain, wonder, boredom, soft, hard, full, empty, happy, sad........ on and on it goes.... everyday. Decide and then live without looking backwards. Be in the moment as much as you can. That way when you time comes you are aware of what is going on. Kiss your body good bye and say job well done..... No matter what. Live your decisions fully! Love your LIfe!
The picture about says it all. These four things are always in my house and at the first sign of not feeling perfectly well they come out to play.
Raw honey: First, always make sure that you get the kind that says RAW on the jar. If it is not raw, then you will be loosing much of the nutrients that are in honey due to all of the stuff they do to it to get it ready to "eat." Raw honey is strained but that is about it. All the good stuff is left intact. Local is the best. Honey is so many things... immune booster, antibacterial, anti fungal, anti inflammatory the list goes on and on. Plus it make the vinegar go down easier.
Apple Cider Vinegar: This stuff is like magic. It balances your insides. If you google Braggs ACV you will come up with books of good things that is does. Girls... If you feel off, wondering if you have a yeast infection or UTI coming.. this will help.It is a blood cleanser. I suggest drinking a mixture of warm water (not hot) with 2 tsp of AVC and honey twice a day. You can think of it as a tea. Drink it when you are not feeling well or everyday as a preventative measure. I know someone who swears, after having cancer that AVC keeps her healthy now.
Great Fruit seed Extract: Very powerful antibiotic and anti fungal properties. Great for a cold coming on, sore gums, itchy feet, UTI and much more. I use this on my cats and dogs also for any type of infection that may be starting. Very effective. Can be taken by mouth or topical.
Oil of Oregano: Very powerful antibiotic and anti fungal properties. Especially good for respiratory issues. If a cold is coming on, a tickle in your throat or a cough, take this twice a day for a couple of days and usually you will feel much better.
This is a very small bit of information about these wonderful natural supplements. Please investigate all their healing properties when you have time. They are a staple in my house and I encourage you to give them a try. It will make for less trips to the doctor and a good feeling of self sufficiency.
I am in no way saying that you should not go to your doctor if you feel you need help, but keeping in the thought of...... An apple a day keeps the doctor away... this is kind of the same idea. Big Smile.
Have a beautiful sunshiney day and special shout out to our Veterans today.
This is a very common question. Sometimes I forget that you have to start from the beginning. With that first conscious breath. So lets start from the beginning. Meditation it kind of mysterious. I hear people say all the time that they don't know how or would like to learn. Its is in one way very simple and on the other so so hard to do. If you think about noticing a small child that is laying on the floor, when they are starting to fall asleep, staring up at the ceiling. In a zone of sorts, that could be a state of meditation. When you "sit" in meditation you allow your mind to empty. When your mind is not chugging along with our thought train, it makes room for new information to come in. We tend to create circles of thoughts that are not very original when we let our thoughts run around worrying about things we cannot control. Today I am going to give you a very simple prescription to quite your mind and let it rest.
In a few easy steps:
Find a comfortable place to relax. You always see people sitting in a cross legged position, with their hands in a particular delicate pinched up flowery position. I think seeing pictures of people meditating sometimes discourages people from trying because it looks organized and complicated. When I say find a comfy spot I mean anywhere. Sitting, laying down or reclining. As long as you are comfortable, that is what is important.
We are going to focus on the most basic why to approach meditation. Breath.... That's all. close your eyes and breath. We do that all the time right? This time though I want you to concentration on your breathe. Not anything else. Watch it, as you breath in and out. You may notice things like: you only breath with the top of your chest, your breath is shallow or you may easily take in nice deep breaths. To start with don't judge. Just watch and say... I am breathing in, I am breathing out. That all I want you to think and do today. It is a very good start. It helps you do many things, this simple practice. It helps you stop the spins in your mind. It helps you begin to listen to your body, understand where your body feel good or uncomfortable. While you narrow your focus to just your breath, you broaden your awareness of how your feel residing in your own body.
If you can, try to sit there for at least 10 breaths. It only takes a couple minutes, but sometimes will feel like more when you first start. In time you will find it very relaxing and the best part is you will always feel better and more clear after.
Please feel free to ask questions. Your questions and comments with help others. Thank you for reading and have a sunshiney day!

Here is the situation: You wake up and for a little while everything seems fine. But, little by little, all the little things seem huge. It feels like just hearing someone breathe, the dog licking himself, someone tapping a pencil or the computer/phone it acting stupid... all of these things are small little things but sometimes our reactions to them are way out of proportion. Living inside our bodies when we are so irritable, messes with our peace, it is ridiculous, but so so normal. This was me yesterday, I felt this way. I'm 52 and still get my period, God's outrageous joke on women. Our bodies can't seem to figure out how to do something that it's been doing for the past 40 years. So, at this point, the dog licks it self more that 2 times in a row and your head is ready to explode, lmao! Everything feel like its louder and out to hurt you. Here's me, this supposed evolved soul that's out here trying to help others with their stuff and I am blubbering because my hormones make me think I am in an echo chamber with ball licking dogs and pencil tapping daughter..... and its all making me crazy... and their all doing it on purpose to to drive me to that crazy. Is that picture clear enough? Well, then we have a choice, live in the crazy or stop for a few minutes and change how we feel. There is always a choice. Sometimes the hardest point is to make the choice to stop the crazy because for some insane reason crazy feels good when we are in the situation. Imagining feeling good when you are lounging in the tears of loneliness and irritation, it is like quitting smoking. You want to do it really fricken bad, even though you know its the wrong thing to do. Why do we love our miserable corners and why do we like to do things that we know are not good for us? I think part of it is that we can and its ok because that is part of the human experience. More about that later. :-)
Here is an easy solution for "I'm feeling crazy inside" feeling.
STOP whatever you are doing. That is about the most important part. The stopping is hard because we as Americans don't always know how to stop. We always have something that we absolutely have to be doing, even is we feel aweful. Right?
Sit down, anywhere, it does not matter, even if you are in the car, on the floor of your kids room, at work, sit down, it's important. Then take 3 slow deep breaths, as slow and as deep as you can. Don't think just do. Then take 3 more, this time pay attention to how you feel, is your breath easy? Are you having trouble filling your lungs? Can you feel where the tension is in your body? Do you want to cry? Does your body hurt and you did not realize until now? Great, you are half way there. Its so important to just know what your body and mind are feeling and thinking. Stopping for a few minutes to witness and appreciate that, is like pressing a reset button. Next, imagine you are a giant magnet and you are calling back your energy, your saneness, the pieces of you that you have given out to your family, friends, work ect in supporting them in their walk on the planet. When we help, support, take care of and give of ourselves.... sometimes we give more that we think and it saps our live force, our will gets depleted and we do not even know why. With this imagery of pulling back the energy of what we have given previously. It's as if you are calling back your missing pieces that make you whole. Some people ask the question... if I take it back I feel like I am taking something away from someone on else. For example, you have been caring for a loved one or even a child and you have given so much of yourself. You are raw and exhausted, but you are doing what you want to and what you feel is right. If you call back the energy that you gave of yourself to that situation then maybe that makes the situation not so perfect or you are taking back what you gave with love. That is not the situation. What you are calling back is the pieces of yourself that are suppose to be with you. We share our pieces and sometimes if we are codependent not only share but completely give big chucks of ourselves to others. Calling back our stuff is very healthy, does not effect the other person in a negative way and reestablishes balance and sanity to your mind and body.
Imagine you are the magnet and your pieces are tiny metal filings, with your child like imagination draw them towards you. Its like magic, you do not need to know where they are coming from. Just watch in your minds eye what happens. If you are sensitive you may see it moving towards you, you may feel a difference immediately in your body, your mind should clear..... It can be a very cool experience once you get the hang of it and let go of your grown up rational mind games, lol. When you feel a change... a calming, more energy, clearer mind, balanced thoughts and hopefully less irritation then you can stop the imagery. Take a couple more breaths to integrate what you have just done for yourself. When you stand, do so slowly just in case you are a little dizzy from adjusting yourself and then go on with your day. You should feel much much better. Now you will have more energy and a better attitude for yourself and loved ones.

Today's topic is how to investigate your own health issues and use preventative measures to halt and heal them before they become a problem. I would really like to encourage comments to engage conversation about the topic. If you can offer examples of your own experiences and wisdom it will make a difference for those involved in the learning process. We can all help each other.
All of us have an ache or a pain, here or there in our daily lives. But, imagine that day that the ache, pain, numb sensation, weakness or anyone of the many abnormal sensations that can happen when our bodies are trying to say something to us. We are aware of that moment... we may say "Hey, that does not feel right." or maybe you start making adaptions in your day to favor a certain part of your body that hurts. As we all know our bodies talk to us, telling us there is a problem. The next step of course is usually to work through it and ignore the subtle warning, right? We have all kinds of stuff to do in our lives. Kids, work, household stuff, bills or even physical fun activities that we don't want to stop. Our bodies are very smart and also have the wisdom to want to be healthy, it will continue to send warning signs....as time goes on they will become more severe, more debilitating until finally we have to stop because we have no choice. Our body says "hold up" "I am going no further, until you fix this issue!" Does this sound familiar?
What if we addressed the problem, the warning at the beginning and did not let it get worse? We can start new habits in our daily lives to maintain our health with only a few minutes of paying attention to our bodies each day.
Lets open the discussion right here. What do you do when you get a signal from your body something is not right? There is no right or wrong answers.
